Ian Bremmer: What the rift between Trump and Zelensky means for Ukraine and Europe.

Analysis of the meeting between Zelensky and Trump: a disaster for Ukraine
According to the analysis of renowned political scientist Ian Bremmer, the meeting between the presidents of Ukraine and the United States has serious consequences. It negatively affects support for Ukraine and transatlantic relations, and diminishes Europe's influence on American policy.
Until now, Zelensky and his NATO allies received support from the US and European countries due to Russia's illegal occupation of part of Ukraine. Trump, on the other hand, declared his neutrality and unwillingness to support Ukraine and contain the conflict. He decided to end the war on his own terms, demanding that Ukraine accept peace.
This poses a disaster for Zelensky, as he is unable to interact with Trump and does not understand his approaches. Trump is furious and has even withdrawn support, indicating that Ukraine will be left to deal with its problems alone. This seriously undermines relations between Ukraine and the US.
Now the question arises as to what the Europeans' stance will be. Are they ready to take on leadership and support Ukraine financially and militarily without US backing? Or will they continue to remain passive and dependent on American support? Their decision will determine the fate of democracy and peace in the world.
