Attack on Kup'yansk: Chief of General Staff commented on the situation in the city.


The Ukrainian military successfully repelled all attacks on the city of Kup'yansk and at the moment there is no threat to it. This was reported by the Chief of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Anatoliy Barhylevych, during a telethon.
«All attacks on Kup'yansk have been repelled, the enemy has been destroyed. Currently, there is no threat to the city», - noted Barhylevych.
He also explained that all necessary measures will be taken to strengthen the military grouping and its growth.
«Kup'yansk is reliably defended by the units located there», - emphasized Barhylevych.
Earlier, President Zelensky visited the direction where the occupiers began their offensive. After visiting Pokrovsk, he headed to Kup'yansk, which is located in Kharkiv region. The head of state congratulated the defenders on Sergeant's Day.
It is worth reminding that Russian occupiers continue their advance near Kup'yansk, as well as near Chasiv Yar, Kurakhove, and Vuhledar.
It should also be noted that Russian invaders have intensified their offensive near Kup'yansk and reached the Oskil River.
