If housing and utility costs exceed 15% of the family's income, one can apply for a subsidy. It is valid regardless of age.

Rural pensioners with work experience in education, healthcare, culture, and agriculture can get a 100% discount on utility payments.

The main requirement is to have at least three years of experience in the relevant position before retirement and to continue living in the village.

• Free Transportation

Retired women can travel for free on urban and suburban ground transportation - trams, trolleybuses, buses, and also in electric trains.

For this, they need to have a pension certificate or a document from the Pension Fund. In minivans, this benefit usually does not apply.

• Legal Assistance

Pensioners can seek free legal assistance. They will receive help with pension issues, benefits, social payments, inheritance, and other legal matters.

• Free Parking

Pensioners can leave their cars in paid parking lots for free - they just need to have documents confirming their pensioner status.

Which Taxes Are Pensioner Women Exempt From

Women who receive a pension due to age (i.e., after 60 years) have benefits when paying land tax. Benefits apply to land plots within the following norms:

• up to 0.10 ha - dachas;
• up to 0.01 ha - garages;
• up to 0.12 ha - gardening;
• up to 0.25 ha - housing in the village;
• up to 0.10 ha - construction in the city;
• up to 2 ha - personal peasant farm;
• up to 0.15 ha - construction in urban-type settlements.
