Who is entitled to double payments?

Persons with disabilities who provide care have the opportunity to receive two pensions simultaneously if they care for another person with a disability or are on parental leave. The amount of the care allowance depends on the group of disability and the subgroup of the person.

Persons with disabilities after the loss of a breadwinner:

Persons with disabilities from childhood and children up to 18 years old can receive payments related to the loss of a breadwinner and state assistance if they meet the relevant conditions.

Changes from May 2025

From May 2025, state support for persons with disabilities has expanded. To receive a second pension, it is necessary to meet the age and insurance experience requirements.

The amounts of social benefits for disability remain at the previous level. The care allowance for persons with disabilities of group I is 200% of the minimum subsistence level.

'We urge citizens who belong to the mentioned categories to apply to the relevant authorities for the registration of the appropriate payments. They will definitely not hinder you,' emphasized the expert.
