The 'Weimar Triangle Plus' format is an alliance of states that are aware of the risks associated with conflict escalation.
This was stated by military expert Vladislav Seleznyov in an interview with the FREEDOM TV channel.
He commented on the opinion that the 'Weimar Triangle Plus' is already some kind of alternative to NATO.
'This is an alliance of states that clearly understand the risks associated with conflict escalation. And 'peace through strength' - this thesis was actively promoted by the then American President Ronald Reagan - is effective. It was precisely an effective foreign policy aimed at silencing wrongdoers that brought corresponding results 45 years ago. Will a world leader emerge who can organize and unite the healthy forces of our planet to restore peace and stability? Such a candidate is being sought,' Seleznyov said.
The expert emphasized the need for a union of healthy forces to restore the world order established after World War II.
