Front Line Situation as of May 7, 2025. General Staff Summary.

Since the beginning of the day, the enemy has launched two missile strikes and 63 aerial attacks, using two missiles and 103 KABs. In addition, enemy forces deployed 1076 kamikaze drones and conducted 4234 shellings of Ukrainian military positions and populated areas.

News from the War in Ukraine

As of May 7 at 22:00, there have been 139 combat clashes. Ukrainian defenders continue to steadfastly repel attempts by the enemy to advance into Ukrainian territory, inflicting effective fire damage and exhausting them along the entire front line. This was reported by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

Recent Events on the Front

The most tense situation currently exists in the Pokrovsk, Lyman, and Novopavlivka directions. The enemy has suffered significant losses - in the Pokrovsk direction, Ukrainian forces destroyed 121 occupiers, 83 of whom are irreversible losses. Three vehicles, nine drones, four motorcycles, and two satellite terminals were also destroyed.

In the Kharkiv direction

The enemy attempted to storm the positions of our defenders near Vovchansk, Vovchanske Khutory, and Kam'yanka eight times. Two combat actions are currently ongoing.

In the Kupiansk direction

The enemy executed six storm attempts in the areas of Hlushkivka, Nova Kruglivka, and Zahryzove.

In the Lyman direction

Over the day, 24 attacks were recorded in the areas of Kopyanky, Hrekivka, Kolodyaziv, as well as towards Ridkodub, Novyi Myr, and Olhivka.

In the Siversk direction

The enemy attempted to break through our defenses near Verkhnokamianske and Bilohorivka six times.

In the Kramatorsk direction

Today, there were ten combat clashes in the areas of Bila Hora, Chasiv Yar, and Predtechyne. Two enemy attacks are currently ongoing.

In the Toretsk direction

The enemy attacked our positions 11 times, concentrating efforts near Shcherbynivka, Toretsk, and towards Dilyivka.

In the Pokrovsk direction

The most aggressive actions occurred in the areas of Malynivka, Lysivka, Kotlyne, Zviryove, Udačne, Novoserhiyivka, Novooleksandrivka, Nadiivka, Bohdanivka, Andriyivka, as well as in the directions of Bahatyr, Oleksiivka, Nova Poltavka, and Kotlyarivka. The occupiers conducted 40 attacks, but our defense forces repelled 32 of them, and another eight are ongoing.

In the Novopavlivka direction

The enemy attacked 22 times in the areas of Kostiantynivka, Novosilka, Vilyne Pole, as well as in the direction of Novopole, Bahatyr, and Odradne. Three combat clashes are still ongoing. Aviation strikes impacted the populated areas of Novodarivka, Temyrivka, and Novopil.

In the Kursk direction

Ukrainian forces repelled 17 attacks, and one combat clash is currently ongoing. The enemy conducted four airstrikes, dropped nine guided aerial bombs, and carried out 277 artillery shellings, one of which was from a multiple launch rocket system.
