Macron announced the possibility of a ceasefire between Russia and Ukraine: timelines.

French President Emmanuel Macron reported that a possible ceasefire between Ukraine and Russia could take place in the coming weeks.
In an interview with Fox News, Macron stated that U.S. President Donald Trump's initiative to end the war is very positive. However, he urged Trump to be careful in the negotiation process and ensure substantial guarantees for Ukraine.
The French leader noted that the meeting with Trump occurred on the third anniversary of Russia's invasion of Ukraine and expressed the need for joint efforts between the U.S. and France to determine long-term security guarantees.
Macron also emphasized that the ceasefire should cover air and maritime space, as well as infrastructure. If Russia violates the agreements, it will indicate its unwillingness for a peaceful resolution of the conflict.
The French President proposes negotiations regarding security guarantees, territory, and reconstruction during a possible ceasefire. He also mentioned cooperation with the Prime Minister of the United Kingdom and a proposal to deploy troops in specific areas to support peace.
