Israel's Foreign Ministry Denies Ambassador's Claims About Transfer of Patriot Systems to Ukraine.

Israel's Ministry of Foreign Affairs rejected the claims made by Ambassador Mykhailo Brodsky regarding the transfer of Patriot air defense systems to Ukraine. In response to a request from Ynet, diplomatic representatives asserted that such information is not true.
'These statements are not true. Israel has not transferred Patriot systems to Ukraine.'
According to reports, Patriot systems have been in the arsenal of the Israeli Defense Forces since the 1990s when they were received from the USA.
Reaction to the Official Denial
Ambassador Mykhailo Brodsky stated that the Israeli side did indeed provide military assistance to Ukraine, including Patriot systems. However, after the publication of this information by the Russian agency TASS, diplomats decided to respond. Russia demanded explanations from Israel, and the ambassador raised the issue of the country's security in the context of providing such assistance. He also noted that withholding assistance to Ukraine could have serious consequences for Israel's security.
After the dissemination of information about the transfer of Patriot air defense systems to Ukraine and the diplomatic response on this issue, officials from various countries have engaged in an active exchange of statements and are concerned about the possible consequences of such actions. Israel's reaction to this complex issue could have significant implications for international relations.Read also
