In the village of Zvenigorodka, a family grows pears and tells about their business. They started with a few thousand seedlings in 2013, and now they have 35 thousand trees and harvest about 200 tons of fruit. Farmer Yulia Petrova shared more details about her success story.

According to her, the family started this business because they wanted to have their own fruits and work on their land. They had no special training or experience in agriculture, but their love for this work and advice from the husband's father helped them start their business.

Currently, the farmers grow four varieties of pears. They faced various challenges, including pests and changing weather conditions, but managed to overcome them. To achieve high-quality yields, they attract bees and bumblebees. According to Yulia, they gather the harvest together with friends and process excess fruits into juice. Working in the garden is for them not just a business but a way to relax. The farmers dream of Ukrainian children consuming local products and not relying on imports.
