Germany may allocate additional funds for weapons to Ukraine.

German Defense Minister Boris Pistorius hopes that the country's government will allocate additional funds for the supply of weapons to Ukraine, reports Spiegel.
According to Pistorius, negotiations to increase the current budget for aid to Ukraine in 2024 amounting to 7.5 billion euros are "promising" and are likely to be completed by the end of the week.
Then we will be talking about a significant sum in the hundreds of millions of euros
Since the NATO summit in July this year, Pistorius has been warning that the billions previously allocated in the budget for military support to Ukraine have been significantly used or designated for specific purposes. Due to this, he has repeatedly called publicly to once again increase the budget for this year.
At the same Time, the German defense minister did not specify how much money the federal government would allocate to help Ukraine. According to Spiegel, the Ministry of Defense hopes to receive less than half a billion euros.
