Norway announces changes in the training of Ukrainian F-16 pilots.

Norway will support the training of Ukrainian pilots on F-16 fighters
Next year, Norway plans to assist in training Ukrainian pilots on F-16 fighters, as reported on the country's Ministry of Defense website.
Until now, Norwegian instructors have been training F-16 pilots in Denmark, but starting next year, training will be moved to Portugal.
Norway has been providing aircraft and instructors for this training since 2023. This is carried out as part of cooperation with the Coalition for Air Defense, which assists Ukraine.
The location of the training for Ukrainian F-16 pilots in Europe will be determined by the Coalition for Air Defense.
In December, Ukraine received the second batch of F-16 aircraft from Denmark.
Ukraine plans to receive at least 200 F-16 fighters to ensure parity with Russia in the skies.
The training of a new group of Ukrainian pilots on F-16 fighters will begin after completing a language course, which is mandatory before the main training.
According to The New York Times, Ukraine will be able to deploy no more than ten F-16 fighters in combat operations by 2024.
