The Ukrainian Hydrometeorological Center warned about dangerous meteorological phenomena in Kyiv and the Kyiv region on Friday, June 20. This was reported by the press service of the Ukrainian Hydrometeorological Center.

Cloudy weather with clearings is expected in the territory of Kyiv region and the capital. No precipitation is expected at night, while a small short-term rain is possible during the day. The wind blows from the northwest at a speed of 7-12 m/s, with gusts up to 15-18 m/s.

The air temperature at night will be between 8-13 degrees, while during the day it will warm up to 15-20 degrees. In Kyiv, the temperature at night will be 11-13 degrees, and during the day 16-18 degrees. The Hydrometeorological Center has declared a yellow level of danger due to expected wind gusts.

Meteorologists warn that such weather conditions may lead to complications in work:
  • energy enterprises and networks
  • construction sites
  • communal services
  • traffic movement

Residents of the region are advised to be careful on the street, especially near trees, advertising structures, and construction scaffolding. Drivers should be extremely vigilant on the roads.
