Russian military attacked a passenger bus in Sumy region
Today, October 5, around 3:00 PM, Russian military committed a war crime by attacking a drone passenger bus in Sumy region. Three passengers were injured, as reported by the Sumy region prosecutor's office.
According to the investigation, on October 5 around 3:00 PM, Russian military used methods of warfare prohibited by international law. They attacked a drone passenger bus moving on the territory of Richkivska community of Sumy district.
As a result of the attack, three passengers were injured: a 65-year-old man and two 54-year-old women. As the “Sumy regional prosecutor's office conducts a pre-trial investigation to identify and punish those responsible.”
Currently, the prosecutor's office, together with law enforcement agencies, are documenting the consequences of the shelling.
It is worth noting that Sumy region is awaiting the delivery of new air defense systems.
