Pensioners were explained who and why is exempt from mobilization.

Ukrainians were told who pensioners can be exempt from mobilization.
According to the report of channel 24, there are certain rules for military registration and mobilization in Ukraine. All male citizens, and even women with corresponding specialties aged 18 to 60, must have military registration documents with them. In fact, actual military service begins at 25 years old. As for pensioners, there are special conditions for them.
Let's consider the categories of older people who do not have to perform military service:
- Pensioners who are 60 years old, as well as those who receive pension due to age or disability, are exempt from mobilization.
- Unfit pensioners due to illnesses and injuries.
- Older individuals who constantly care for non-working relatives are also exempt from mobilization, but documents confirming the status of caregiver are required.
- Pensioners with the status of labor veterans and other special merits to the state.
To confirm the exemption from mobilization for pensioners, they must contact the military commissariat and provide the following documents:
- Pension certificate;
- Medical evidence of health condition;
- Documents confirming guardianship or other reasons for exemption.
We remind that Ukrainians were promised 'red lines' for economic protection against mobilization.
