Polish companies are preparing to participate in the reconstruction of Ukraine through active dialogue with the Ukrainian side and monitoring the development of bilateral relations. This was stated by the Polish government's commissioner for the reconstruction of Ukraine, Pawel Kowal, in an interview with Polskie Radio.
'We are planning a joint study trip to Turkey to compare potential and see where there are opportunities for cooperation,' Kowal noted, adding that expert assessments regarding the involvement of Polish companies, particularly in the construction and aviation sectors, already exist.
Regarding the prospects of cooperation, the acting director of the Polish Economic Institute, Pawel Sliwowski, also stated, pointing to the significant potential of Polish industry for exporting goods for the reconstruction of Ukraine. In addition, he noted the prospects in the field of window carpentry production.
Sliwowski emphasized the need for a long-term strategy for economic cooperation between the countries. 'We need a stable and secure neighbor to the east, as well as an economy that is actively developing and integrating with Europe. This will be a great advantage for the Polish economy,' he remarked.
The presence of Polish companies in the Ukrainian market, the development of bilateral trade and investment cooperation, which will contribute to strengthening economic ties between the states and Ukraine's integration into the European economic space, is of great importance.
