Ukrainians honor the memory of Maryan Kolomiiets, who died in the war
On September 14, 2024, Maryan Kolomiiets, a 20-year-old from Lviv, died on the front, defending Ukraine's independence. This was reported by the Lviv City Council.
Maryan Kolomiiets was born on April 1, 2004, in Lviv. He studied at School No. 90 and Sanatorium School No. 1 in Lviv and received education at the "Lviv Higher Vocational School of Computer Technologies and Construction".
After completing his studies, Maryan worked in Spain and the USA at a woodworking factory. However, with the onset of the Russo-Ukrainian War, he returned to his homeland and volunteered to join the airborne assault brigade of the Ukrainian Armed Forces.
Maryan Kolomiiets died on September 14, 2024. His funeral was held on September 17 in Lviv.
We honor the memory of all Ukrainians who died fighting for their homeland. This moment of silence is dedicated to them and all the victims of Russia's assault on Ukraine.
