Putin commented on the use of nuclear weapons against Ukraine.


The President of the Russian Federation, Vladimir Putin, has once again spoken about nuclear weapons. He stressed that he hopes there will be no need for their use. This is reported by the Russian propaganda outlet 'RIA Novosti'.
Putin noted that Russia has not used nuclear weapons during the special military operation and hopes that there will be no need for such action. He also accused Russia of attempting to provoke it into making wrong decisions.
Earlier, Putin commented on peace with Ukraine, acknowledging that it is necessary.
The President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelensky, urged not to trust Moscow’s promises regarding a ceasefire and to be prepared for provocations on May 9.
Zelensky also believes that Putin's initiative to announce a truce for three days is a theatrical production. He explained that Ukraine is ready for a truce from May 7 for 30 days.
The Kremlin reacted to Zelensky's statement regarding the readiness for a 30-day truce, considering the Russian proposal to last three days.
