Record Holders of the Pension System: Maximum Payments in Poland Revealed.


The record pension is received by a Polish retiree from Zabrze in Silesia, who receives 51,350 zlotys monthly after indexing. His impressive work experience totals 62 years, 5 months, and 18 days, during which he never took sick leave. Such a high pension payment is a record for the Social Insurance Institution (ZUS).
The Social Insurance Institution reminded that retiring later allows for receiving a larger benefit due to the reduction in the years of further average life expectancy. 'The fewer years until the end of life, the fewer months the capital accumulated in the pension account is divided by,' ZUS explained.
