In October, the Russian company Trading House "Don Coal" plans to start coal exports from occupied Donbas through the port of Mariupol, reported Andrey Chertkov, one of the heads of the occupying Russian administration in the Donetsk region.
A company representative Oleg Knyazev confirmed that negotiations are underway for the supply of coal from Donbas with potential buyers from China, India, Iran, Uzbekistan, and Malaysia.
Exports may take place through the temporarily occupied ports of Mariupol, Taganrog, and Rostov-on-Don, as well as by rail through Azerbaijan and Iran.
