Russians attempted to enter Chernihiv region, - head of ODA.


Over the past year, the Russians have increased the number of shelling in the border area of Chernihiv region using almost all types of weapons. The enemy also attempted to penetrate into the territory of the region in groups, but was destroyed. This was reported by the head of Chernihiv ODA Vyacheslav Chaus.
'The enemy is constantly shelling the border area, destroying infrastructure, injuring and killing our civilians. But the situation is under control. Most of all shelling in the border area is carried out by FPV drones, and Shahed and Russian missiles are arriving in the territory of the region,' said Chaus.
Also, according to Chaus, the enemy periodically attempted to penetrate the territory of the region in groups, but was destroyed.
'The enemy constantly received a beating here. I apologize, but this word can be applied to the reconnaissance and sabotage groups of the enemy. Their recent attempts were unsuccessful. The increase in the number of shelling in the border area literally from all types of weapons,' specified the head of ODA.
Regarding the most dangerous 5-kilometer border zone, more than 6.5 thousand civilians have left it. However, about 700 people remain, with whom local authorities and the military are working for their evacuation.
