The USA has resumed arms shipments to Ukraine - Reuters.


According to Reuters, arms shipments from the USA to Ukraine have resumed after a short hiatus. The White House has reversed its initial position on halting military aid to Ukraine. There are differences in the USA regarding the provision of military assistance to Kyiv from existing stockpiles. The USA is now beginning to transport weapons to Ukraine again, using presidential powers to expedite the process.
The US government is currently not providing clear answers regarding the duration of military assistance to Ukraine in countering the Russian invasion. Up to this point, the USA has provided significant support to Kyiv in its fight against the Russian Federation, including artillery and anti-tank missiles.
It has also been reported that the USA has transferred 90 Patriot missile interceptors to Ukraine from stocks in Israel for further delivery. Additionally, the USA is providing a new military aid package to Ukraine worth $500 million, including missiles and ammunition. This information was confirmed by Secretary of Defense Lloyd Austin during a meeting in Ramstein.
