Status of the Armed Forces: Ministry of Defense improves the procedure for providing information on participation in combat actions.

The Ministry of Defense is improving the procedure for providing information on the participation of servicemen in combat actions
The Ministry of Defense is reforming the procedure for providing information on the participation of servicemen in combat actions. This will now be done through the Unified State Register of War Veterans (USRWV) and no later than five days from the moment the combat order is issued.
'For this purpose, in military units, institutions, and organizations that carry out combat missions in areas of military operations, special authorized persons will be appointed. They are required to enter data into the USRWV about the military personnel directly involved in repelling the armed aggression of the Russian Federation within five days from the date of the combat order,' the department reported.
It is noted that a separate procedure is provided for entering information into the USRWV regarding servicemen of the Armed Forces of Ukraine who serve in structural units of the Ministry of Defense, military command bodies, military units, higher military educational institutions, and institutions subordinate to the Ministry of Defense.
This applies to those military personnel who have been assigned to military units in areas of military operations to carry out special tasks.
