The coach of the women's biathlon team of Ukraine explained how he will choose the squad for the first stages of the World Cup.

Teams for the Biathlon World Cup have been determined
The senior coach of the women's biathlon team of Ukraine, Mykola Zots, explained how the teams will look for the upcoming stages of the World Cup. Changes have occurred in the women's team A, where Valeria Dmytrenko replaced Iryna Petrenko.
According to the coach, Iryna Petrenko will continue training with team B. Being part of this team does not mean she will not get a chance to participate in the World Cup or the Olympic Games. This decision was made considering the optimization of the training process and the athlete's health.
The division into teams A and B does not mean that they will participate in different competitions in the next season. This is done to focus more attention on the athletes who want to enter the Olympic team.
During the November gathering, tests will be conducted to determine who will go to the World Cup and who will go to the IBU Cup. Team B will be coached by Roman Leibyuk.
The first stage of the Biathlon World Cup will take place in Östersund from November 29 to December 8.
