The Third Assault Brigade Set a Record for Downing UAVs - What Are the Results.

The anti-aircraft missile artillery division of the Third Separate Assault Brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine has set a record among line units of the Ground Forces. In June, the warriors destroyed 268 enemy drones.

This was reported by the press service of the 3rd Assault Brigade on Friday, July 11.

Which Drones Were Shot Down

Among the targets shot down are 83 strike drones, including 27 'Shahed', 3 'Lancet', 52 'Molniya', and 1 'KUB'. Additionally, 6 reconnaissance UAVs were eliminated, including 'ZALA', 'Supercam', 'Takhion', and 'Orlan'.

The largest number consists of small-sized drones - 179 units, which the Russians used for observation, artillery adjustment, and attacks on Ukrainian positions.

The brigade emphasizes that this is the result of systematic and coordinated work of the air defense units, which cover the skies above combat positions and civilian settlements every day.

'All this is the result of the systematic work of our air defense units. The fighters protect the skies over the brigade's units and shoot down targets directed by the enemy at peaceful cities. From now on, there will only be more.'

Earlier, the commander of the UAV interception platoon '3RADN' of the 3rd Assault Brigade, with the call sign 'Betsyk', described how the interception of enemy drones happens.

Former commander of the 'Azov' regiment and deputy commander of the 3rd Assault Brigade, Maxim Zhorin, reported that the problem of the lack of anti-drone nets is not given proper attention in the border areas of Sumy and Kharkiv regions.
