Ukrainians became champions of Latvia and Spain in basketball

Three Ukrainians Isuf Sanon, Vyacheslav Bobrov, and Ilya Sidorov won the title of champions of Latvia in basketball. This was reported by 'Glavkom' citing the FBU.

'VEF' defeated 'Ventspils' away with a score of 93:91 and won the final series 4:0.

Isuf Sanon played 36 minutes, scored 25 points (4/8 two-pointers, 5/11 three-pointers, 2/2 free throws), provided 11 assists, made 5 rebounds, 1 steal with 2 turnovers and 4 fouls.
Vyacheslav Bobrov played 35 minutes, scored 18 points (6/9 two-pointers, 1/2 three-pointers, 3/4 free throws), collected 12 rebounds, provided 4 assists with 2 turnovers and 1 foul.
Ilya Sidorov spent 20 minutes on the court, scored 3 points (0/2 two-pointers, 1/4 three-pointers), collected 2 rebounds, provided 4 assists with 4 fouls.

This is the 12th title of champions of Latvia for 'VEF' and the seventh in a row, but for Sanon, Bobrov, and Sidorov this is their first victory in the Latvian Championship.

The captain of the Ukrainian women's national team and leader of 'Valencia' Alina Yagupova played 29 minutes in the decisive match, scoring 9 points (1/3 two-pointers, 2/3 three-pointers, 1/1 free throws), collecting 5 rebounds, providing 1 assist, 1 steal with 5 fouls and 6 turnovers.

For Alina Yagupova, this is the second title of champion of Spain, she also won the Spanish Cup last year.

In this season, Yagupova participated in 32 matches, on average playing 23.1 minutes, scoring 9.3 points, 2.8 rebounds, and 3.5 assists.
