A passenger aircraft of Russian manufacture, the Superjet-100, was flying from Moscow to Batumi, Georgia, when the cover tore off during the flight. The aircraft was immediately returned to Vnukovo Airport, where a 'blue' code was declared - an aviation incident in the air that was accompanied by an emergency landing.

The Russian Federation has again suffered losses in aviation. One of the Russian Su-25 aircraft accidentally shot down its own comrade during the launch of unguided missiles near Soledar in Donetsk region. The pilot of the downed aircraft survived but was injured and is currently in the hospital.

After the special operation 'Spider Web', many Russian Tu-95MS aircraft were deployed to the 'Ukrainka' airbase, which is 5960 km away from Ukraine. This airbase houses 37 Tu-95MS aircraft, but their purpose remains unknown.
