Ukraine Rejects Allegations of Supplying Drones to Insurgents in Mali - MFA Statement.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs published a comment regarding the accusations against Ukraine of supporting insurgent movements in Mali.
"Ukraine strongly rejects the accusations recently spread by some international media about the alleged involvement of our state in supplying UAVs to insurgents in Mali. We also categorically deny all allegations that are periodically expressed by high-ranking officials of the Republic of Mali and the Republic of Niger about the alleged involvement of Ukraine in "cooperation with terrorists", "supplying terrorists with weapons and providing them with information", "Ukraine's support for the terrorist coalition", etc.", - as noted in the comment.
The MFA emphasizes that they have previously refuted such accusations and expressed regret regarding Mali and Niger's decision to sever diplomatic relations with Ukraine based on unconfirmed assumptions.
"In this context, we also reject all accusations concerning the entry of weapons and military equipment provided to Ukraine by its allies to counter Russian aggression into the Sahel region. From the beginning of the Russian invasion, Ukraine has introduced a system of monitoring and control over the receipt of Western weapons. We also have parliamentary control in this area", - reported the ministry.
It is noted that for more than two and a half years of accompanying Russian aggression, there have been no instances of misuse of the weapons and equipment provided to Ukraine.
The MFA calls for stopping the spread of false information echoing Russia's propagandist narratives aimed at discrediting Ukraine and justifying Russia's illegal war. The ministry emphasizes that Ukraine remains committed to building mutually beneficial relations with African countries based on international law and respect for the sovereignty of each country.
