Ukrainians Will Not Suffer from a Vegetable Shortage This Winter
The Ministry of Agrarian Policy and Food noted that Ukrainians have enough vegetables for the winter period. Director of the Department of Agrarian Development Andriy Kravchenko reported that vegetable prices this winter will be lower than last year.
According to him, Ukrainian farmers have increased the planting areas for traditional vegetables such as onions, carrots, beets, potatoes, and cabbage. Therefore, Ukraine will not only meet internal needs but also have the potential for export.
Kravchenko also emphasized that the vegetable year was successful, which will allow Ukrainians to have affordable quality vegetables. As a result, the country's population will be able to consume them at lower prices.
