Ukrainians can find out the size of their future pension: how to buy additional years of service and what is the cost.


Ukrainians were explained how to find out the size of their future pension.
The press service of the Pension Fund of Ukraine reported that there is a pension calculator on the website of the Pension Fund of Ukraine, which allows citizens to calculate the size of their future pension. This allows people to assess their financial situation after retirement. If the calculations show that the expected pension is too low, the person has Time to take necessary actions to improve the situation.
To use the pension calculator:
- Go to the website portal.pfu.gov.ua.
Click the 'Login' button and choose a method of authorization:
- through BankID (a convenient and quick way);
- using a qualified electronic signature (QES).
After authorization in the personal account, you can see the main data: full name, date of birth, identification code, years of service, and the date of the last payment. Then you can choose the pension calculator and select from two calculation options: calculation as if the pension was appointed today, or calculation taking into account further employment.
How to improve the pension amount:
- Legalizing income. Ask your employer to issue an official salary.
- Official employment.
- Buying additional years of service through the Pension Fund.
How to buy service years online:
- Log into 'Communication with the Pension Fund'.
- Select 'Contract for voluntary participation'.
- Fill in the data, sign with QES, and pay the contributions.
On the Pension Fund portal, services for applying for a pension or recalculation, processing subsidies and benefits, receiving electronic certificates, checking the electronic work book, and changing the method of receiving payments are also available. It is reminded that pensions in Ukraine will increase by 20% excluding taxes.
