Enemy struck at railway infrastructure in two regions.

On the night of September 3, the railway in Sumy and Dnipropetrovsk regions was subjected to heavy shelling, but "Ukrzaliznytsia" continues normal train operations. This was reported by the company's press service.
Despite the shelling, not a single passenger train was canceled. "During the past night, the enemy attempted to attack the railway infrastructure and rolling stock in the Sumy and Dnipropetrovsk regions. Fortunately, no one was injured," the statement reads.
It was also reported that last evening, the house of an Ukrzaliznytsia employee, a locomotive depot driver in Pokrovsk, was shelled. Evacuation of the population is currently underway from this city, and railway workers are operating under constant enemy attacks.
The railway worker and his wife (a member of the primary trade union) were injured and taken to the hospital.
Despite this, train operations continue unchanged, Ukrzaliznytsia emphasized.
Recall that on the night of September 3, Ukraine was attacked by the enemy with a missile strike. Explosions were heard in many cities, including Kharkiv, Mykolaiv, and Chernihiv.
