Ban on Mobile Phones in School: France Begins Experiment.

France is beginning an experimental ban on the use of mobile phones in schools for children under the age of 15. About 200 general education schools in France are implementing the "digital break" initiative. Students will hand in their phones upon arrival at school. The aim of the experiment is to give children a break from digital devices. If the experiment is successful, the ban may be extended to all schools in France from January 2025.
This decision is partly driven by concerns that excessive use of mobile devices is harmful to children's health and development. President Emmanuel Macron created a commission that highlighted this issue in its report.
In Ukraine, starting from September 1, the Ministry of Education and Science is implementing the "School Offline" strategy to bring 300,000 students back to face-to-face education and improve the quality of distance education where face-to-face is not possible.
The Ministry of Education also reports on the readiness of schools for cold weather and blackouts.
Ukrainian teachers should not expect salary increases due to the difficult situation in the state budget.
