Zelensky Signed Laws on New Terms of Martial Law and Mobilization.


President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky signed laws on extending martial law and general mobilization in the country for another 90 days. According to this decision, the special legal regime and mobilization measures will be in effect until November 9, 2024.
This was reported by "Khvilya", referring to the legislative bill cards №3891-ІХ, №3892-ІХ.
Recall that these laws were adopted by the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine on July 23.
The new terms of martial law and mobilization will come into effect on August 12, when the previous term expires.
It should be noted that the previous extension of these measures took place in May of this year, when their duration was extended until August 11.
It is worth mentioning that martial law and mobilization in Ukraine were introduced in response to aggression from Russia and have been ongoing since February 2022.
