Tottenham captain achieved a unique accomplishment.

Son Heung-min sets a new achievement
Forward and captain of 'Tottenham' Son Heung-min has established a national achievement in the history of European cups. This was reported by 'Hlukhiv' citing the club's press service.
Son became the first representative of South Korea to win a title while being the captain of a club participating in European cups.
'We are making history', - noted the press service of 'Tottenham'.
Tottenham's triumph in the Europa League
It should be noted that London 'Tottenham' became the champion of the UEFA Europa League for the 2024/25 season, defeating another English representative - 'Manchester United' - in the final match.
For both teams, which struggled to impress in the current edition of the English Premier League, the final became their last chance to finish the season on a high note. Given this, the opponents played cautiously, and the first half of the match passed in an even contest.
The only goal of the match was scored in the 42nd minute – Tottenham midfielder Brennan Johnson managed to push the ball into the net of Manchester United in a fierce contest, making the score 1:0.
After the break, the game scenario changed little – both teams demonstrated effort, but without many dangerous moments. Nevertheless, the 'Spurs' managed to maintain a narrow advantage and achieve the long-desired victory.
This success not only brought 'Tottenham' a European trophy but also opened the door to the Champions League – according to UEFA regulations, the winner of the Europa League automatically qualifies for the next edition of the most prestigious club tournament in Europe.
