Rental prices for housing in Kyiv have jumped: where to rent an apartment the cheapest.


In Kyiv, the cost of renting housing has significantly increased in April, rising by 13.69% or over 2,500 hryvnias. Currently, the average rent for an apartment in the capital is 21,000 hryvnias, reports the M2bomber portal.
According to analysts, the annual price increase was even more noticeable - by 32.39%, which amounts to over 5,000 hryvnias. However, over the past six months, there has been a significant decrease in rental prices by 12.45% (almost 3,000 hryvnias).
In Kyiv, rental prices for apartments range from 11,000 to 34,200 hryvnias, depending on the district. The cheapest remains the Desnyanskyi district with an average price of 11,000 hryvnias, while in the Shevchenkivskyi district, the average rent is 34,200 hryvnias.
'According to our data, the rental cost of a 'very average' apartment in Kyiv has risen from 18,400 hryvnias to 21,000 hryvnias,' notes the M2bomber portal.

The most affordable remain one-bedroom apartments with the smallest area, which are most often rented for 11,200 hryvnias (10.5% of all advertisements).
Two-bedroom apartments are offered from 18,000 to 20,000 hryvnias (7.3% of advertisements), while three-bedroom apartments are available for 30,600 hryvnias (over 10% of all advertisements).

According to the M2bomber portal, rental prices for apartments in Kyiv continue to rise. In April, they increased by 13.69%, and the annual increase is 32.39%. However, over the past six months, there has been a decrease in rental prices by 12.45%. One-bedroom apartments with the smallest area are in the highest demand. In the most expensive district, Shevchenkivskyi, the average rent is 34,200 hryvnias. Rental prices for apartments continue to rise in Ukraine, which may impact the real estate market in the future.
