Malomuzh explained the tasks of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the Kursk direction.

Russia's statements about regaining control over the territories of the Kursk region indicate the conduct of maneuver warfare. Ukraine's Armed Forces are retreating to strike at the enemy's positions.
This was stated by the General of the Army of Ukraine and the Head of the Foreign Intelligence Service of Ukraine Mykola Malomuzh.
'In the Kursk direction, we are performing the tasks of maneuver warfare. This is a new type of warfare that involves the movement of troops and strikes - both frontal and flank. The enemy enters the gray zone, and we deliver a fire strike and maneuver,' Malomuzh noted.
He emphasized that the task of organizing a stable line of defense is not on the agenda.
'We left part of the territory, but we did not plan to become a complete defensive line... The Russians say that they have regained control over 400-500 sq. km. This is not true - we simply retreated to avoid losing fighters and, on the other hand, of course, to maneuver and deliver strikes under favorable conditions,' he explained.
